1. PROBLEM: The flushometer does not flush.

    SOLUTION: Adjust the control stop for the desired delivery of water volume.
  • CAUSE: Either the conventional diaphragm assembly is installed on a low consumption fixture or the water closet diaphragm assembly is installed on a urinal fixture.
    SOLUTION: Determine the required flush volume by looking at the label on the valve or markings on the unit. Replace the diaphragm assembly or relief valve with an assembly of the appropriate flush volume.

3. PROBLEM: Chattering noise is heard during flushing.

  • CAUSE: The inside cover is damaged.
    SOLUTION: Install a new A-71 inside cover.
  • CAUSE: The relief valve or diaphragm assembly is damaged.
    SOLUTION: Replace the relief valve or diaphragm assembly.
