  • If you have a call, I would appreciate the opportunity to be involved.   Although not identical, some of my experience from a career in National Accounts involved assisting in bringing disparate parts of larger companies to a unified cost effective corporate philosophy. It also would be great to hear the comments you have knowledge of from your experiences.

  • Hi Heath,

I would love to discuss the possibility of working with you in the area of door and lock maintenance for your facilities.  My partner and I own M & T Facility Services, LLC, a nationwide service provider for all types of door and lock installation, repair and preventive maintenance.  We can dispatch technicians for 24-hour, same day, 2-hour emergency, or regular service.  Your facilities simply call us, one number, and from the time we receive the call, we will monitor the job through completion, to your satisfaction.

Please give a call and speak to either myself or my partner, Margy.

Thanks, and good luck to you!

  • Hi Kirk,

If you are in need of consolidation for your regional window, flooring & sign cleaning, or pressure washing/awning dusting - than please let me know. We offer services throughout the US, and in this economy I've run a few cost comparisons for clients that have resulted in maintenance consolidation & significantly reduced pricing.

I am in Central California and you can reach me at (925) 459-5536 or via email at jaclyn@gawc.us. I'm always happy to help and I try to make the process as painless as possible (for you).

Have a great day! Jaclyn Frenzel with GAWC, Inc.

  • Eric:  My name is Mike Eavey.  What are your professional qualifications?  My company in Chevy Chase MD is looking for building engineers.  While the position is not as a Facility Manager it is in the Facilities Department with the opportunity for advancement.  I have worked here for almost 37 years and started as an Engineer Trainee.  In case you think Chevy Chase is a long way from Hagerstown let me assure you that it is, but probably not much further than from my home in Thurmont.  Travelling long distance to work is not ideal but it beats unemployment.  If you're interested let me know.

  • Mike, you asked for qualificartions. I am a Professional Engineer with 25 years experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection. I know you are looking for professionals to work for or with you but if you have a need for consultant expertise or just a suggestion for a solution, I am available.

  • I'm Don Parris, in Charlotte, NC.  I'm the Security/FM Coordinator for a client in the wallboard manufacturing industry.  As part of my job, I began coordinating our alternative commuting outreach program, which led to me achieving the LEED AP O+M credential.  I subsequently joined IFMA and am now a Facility Management Professional.  In addition to the usual security responsibilities, I work with all of our contractors and make adjustments to the HVAC system, as necessary.

I am now seeking a new opportunity in Facility Management, where I can put my 16 years of experience and credentials to better use.

In my spare time, HA!, I like to fish.Cool

  • Hi Everyone

Ash here. Finding some of the readings here very useful and informative for my facilities management work. I'm going currently in singapore and will be based in Doha, Qatar soon to head the engineering department for a residential building.

Hope to learn and maybe put into practise topics discussed here.

    Cheers!
