Interior Renovations

Not Answered This question is not answered

We recently contracted a large interior design company to renovate a number of our guest rooms.  The rooms were stripped down to bare drywall and bare concrete floors.  The demolition and clearing out of the rooms was handled by my staff.  This company took care of the tile, wallpaper, carpet, casework, granite countertops, appliances, drapery, and the installation of everything.  In the end it cost approximately $83 a square foot.  IN the past we have done most of interior renovations bit by bit but this company provided a pretty much turn key product.  I was looking to see if others have completed projects such as this and what was the price per square foot cost?

  • When you say guest rooms I am going to venture a guess and say you are speaking of a hotel. It is kinda hard to compare a square foot price when you have everything included what you have listed. There are so many differences across the brands. If you could back the labor cost out of that square foot price you could then do a true cost comparison. The FF&E price between the Embassy we just finished and the Holiday Inn we are getting ready to start is huge. Two complete opposite ends of the financial cost spectrum.
