We are constantly striving to bring top industry experts to our shows and this year we’ve done it again. We are very excited to announce two very qualified industry experts who are joining the Facility Decisions line up.
First up on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in room C we have Christian Hardigree, a leading expert in bed bugs litigation and Department Chair at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV, presenting the session “Bed Bugs! How a Facility Manager Can Avoid Liability”. This is a necessary session for anyone in the Medical, Education, or Hospitality industries. A recent Today Show segment about bed bugs on college campuses reported that these creepy crawlers are defiantly making a come back in the United States -- you need to be ready for them.
Secondly on Wednesday at 2:10 p.m. in room A, come hear Ron Runkles of the National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA) give a presentation about “Lighting Systems: The Path to Rapid ROI”. Rapid return on investment; isn’t that something every facility manager would love to see? NEMA’s enLIGHTen America Campaign is a high-quality resource for any FM dealing with these issues. This presentation will give attendees real-life examples to save energy and money with lighting systems, an easy and relatively inexpensive solution to fighting the energy crunch.
