Obama sure is spending a lot of our hard earned taxpayer money. I'd like to know how much of the $850 billion stimulous package is allocated to this carbon offset thing. Who's going to actually get the money? And who decides what the recipients can and must do with it? And isn't there a possiblity that businesses could actually be put out of business if they can't reduce their carbon emissions enough?
Big Brother - here we come!
The Portland roofing contractors are taking advantage of the tax breaks and rebates. There are a ton of construction projects going on here in Portland. Pretty much every building downtown is getting a new roof and are becoming "green." Good for the businesses though! They are helping the environment and saving money too!
