  • In our facility I have notice that the type of soap that is being used especially liquid soaps has caused an increase in stopped up drains. Due to the fact that the electronic faucets only put out 2 gals or less does not break the soap down to a lather. This causes the soap to cling to the drains and effects the lav bowl to get the air it needs from the overflow to drain properly. I am just wondering how many hospital facilities has gone to foam and do they meet infectious control standards?
