Might I also recommend checking the air filters and changing if necessarily, it would greatly help with air into the system, and in turn help with keeping it cool. It's something that only takes a minute but make a big difference.

Our systems streamline the entire ID enrollment process, and also gives you plenty of features for designing and managing your ID cards and scalability to grow with the latest card technologies. You also want a system that produces a card that best represents your corporate image, and a card that is both secure and professional looking. After all, your ID card reflects your image as well as the person wearing it.

If your looking into a system, or enhancing your current ID system, we can help by answering many of your questions, or setting up a demo. Post a question here, email us at sales@identicommtechnologies.com or call us at 800-223-4348.

Tio begin, there are added lighting options not even discussed, such as induction lighting or LEDs. Secondly, it overlooks the fact that simple replacement often misses out on real opportunity to increase light levels and increase productivity. Things like packing and shipping errors can be reduced with proper lighting design. A professional lighting retrofit company, like Aelux will provide a free lighting audit and retrofit recommendation at no cost and show just how good the ROIs can be. If you're finally going to do something about your old lighting, why not to it right?

It really explains the importance of the planning function. I should probably point our customers to this article so that the understand what planning is all about. My company sells a maintenance management product called FastMaint CMMS and we frequently have to convince customers of the importance of planning and how crucial it is to maintain original data from prior work orders so as to continually improve the planning function.

For example we have a planned date on every work order that represents when the work order is to be scheduled according to the maintenance plan put together by the planner. The system uses this to alert users of work orders that are past due. One of the most frequent requests we get is how to alter these planned dates on the work order. I suppose seeing too many warnings or having reports that show major delays in work order completions presents a problem for maintenance personnel when their superiors see it!

Hello, just a quick comment. Your article may have implied that it might be better to go with line-interactive UPSes, because they provide 96-99 percent efficiency. Indeed, this is probably OK for non-mission-critical environments. There is a trade-off, however, for opting for line-interactive over a 'true' online UPS typology: end-users who purchase line interactive UPSes will no longer have zero-transfer time, an important characteristic of online UPSes, especially for mission-critical environments. This difference is often overlooked and is a ongoing frustration for data center and facility managers.

Thanks! In times like these, it's critical to ensure your business survives in the short term so it can thrive in the long term. It's clear that deferring while taking a hard look at spending, facility managers need to realize that deferring facility maintenance is not advisable. Systematic facility maintenance can reduce the cost of ownership through increased occupancy and decreased emergency maintenance costs.
