This turned out to be a great event yesterday morning at the local bagel shop to showcase infrared techology.

Amazing how the black gentleman in the middle who because of skin tone you could not tell how hot his head got but because of infrared thermography you could see he was cooking.
Amazing the power of infrared to break down silos between the public and the FM World.
Make sure The emisivity settings are adjusted corectly :)
Thanks for the posting but i am confused.
Correctly to do what? Hope that is not a racial slur as that is not appropiate at least on my section of MyFacilitiesnet.
Please respond and let me know if I am wrong with my interpretation of your comment.
Hi.
Sorry you didn"t understand what I was getting at. With IR imaging each material has a different emisivity. Copper.03
cast iron.6-.7, mild steel.20 gold.018, human skin.80-.90. It was said with a little levity for the very interesting experiment. We use our imager for many things around here from finding loose electrical connections to looking for pits inside boiler piping.(this was found by accident) I will attach an image for you to check out in the multimedia area.
Thanks John for the enlightening me and restoring my faith in this forum as being for pros only.
