Ritron introduces an all-in-one long-range (miles, not feet) 2-way wireless intercom with remote control capability and integrated entry keypad. The optional entry keypad is available for the 6 or 7 Series  callbox models.

“This new model configuration epitomizes the company’s mission to extend wireless voice communications beyond normal limits,” stated Ritron President, Steve Rice. “The Ritron OutPost Callbox improves the security and safety of any facility without additional personnel by putting wireless voice communication right where it’s needed … without costly trenching, monthly fees or air-time charges.”

The optional entry keypad is wired separately to the power supply of the nearby gate controller. It does not draw any power from the callbox batteries. Authorized users with pre-assigned entry codes can use the keypad to activate either the gate controller or a magnetic door lock.  For all other applications the callbox is used for long-range 2-way wireless communication between the unattended gate and radio-equipped personnel. Radio-equipped personnel can then activate the gate controller remotely using their 2-way portable or base station radio.  Mounting installation is further simplified since the entry keypad and callbox are combined. Only one goose-neck post is needed.

Choose either the 6 Series callbox that includes a wireless activated switch closure to control gates, activate CATV, or other devices.  Or the 7 Series with all the features of the 6 Series plus voice storage capability…greeting and voice alert, AC fail/low battery voice alert, 3-7 Tone encode/decode and remote “listen-in” feature.
